Hair Deux

Not to be outdone by Topher’s hair experiences, Adam and Ethan decided it was time to attack theirs.  The biggest difference here: they weren’t as timid boring normal as the latest addition to the family.  Instead of black, they decided for blue and bright pink respectively.  I know it’s not Wordless Wednesday.  Not sure what to say to these, though …

First you bleach your hair out … may as well put dishes away while you’re doing it …

Then you goop the heck out of it … may as well try to do the blond mold beard, too!

Red goop is so much more interesting.

The blue didn’t work well … it didn’t take in his beard at all, and his head is just a blue-shade of bleached blond.  But the red … stunning!

Surviving hair is easy.  Piercings, too.  Don’t anybody say the T word, though!

PS: All images were taken with my phone, and with the exception of correcting the white-balance on the last one, none has been altered.
EDIT: Forgot to add my Fatherhood Friday badge down here ;-(

Send em here. I hae got the best place in all of Atlanta where I got my Tat's done. This guy is awesome. I am so wanting to get more. I cant mess with my hair though, every time I do , I screw it up. I dont hardly even shave cause it will look stupid.

Did someone say tattoo?! <3<3<3 I have 5 tattoos (I think, lemme count, yup 5!) and I do have to say, I regret none. Its my piercings and the "never gonna go away holes" that I really regret... Damn piercings...

I'm glad that one of your kids dyed their hair pink (red, whatev) it was much needed. Too bad the blue didn't work, what brand did you guys use? Manic Panic?

Yeah ... thanks for the support there. At 18, his preferences are still changing. A hole in his ear he can live with, but I've had friends with horrid tats that embarassed them in later years, so I'm trying to get them to put them off. At 13, doubly (or even triply) so.

I know how to find some good artists ... Heck, I love Kiwi's butterfly wings (she has wings tatooed on her back from her shoulder blades down past her beltline...gorgeous!). Just trying to postpone ... at least for a bit ...

I'm not saying he should go out and get a tattoo (though personally I'd rather have a f-d up tat than a botched piercing any day). Crazy me [with my 5 (and that's not the end) tattoos, and my 00 gauged ears (and growing), 7 piercings (to be cont. as well)] is completely against letting teens get piercings for the fact that they are so mutilating to the body. Crooked piercing (or worse, your body rejects it, ick!), what can you do but take it out, pray you don't still have a hole in 6mo-1yr... beleive me sometimes the holes won't heal EVER. Teens don't want to clean their rooms or take showers, how will they not touch their piercing, clean it appropriately, with the correct products, not pick at it if it starts oozing, remember to give it salt water soaks etc, etc.
I feel like such an old lady now (and a nag!)... now I just need cats, lots of cats.

You know where to send them when they're ready for ink.

@Kiwi:

WOW ... thanks for the support ;-)

@Del:

Don't stress. Wasn't attacking. As long as they keep things reasonable, the truth is I'm OK with most things ;-) We've handled piercings, even bad ones, in the past, and probably will do again!
